Very comfortable! I was surprised at how light the shoe is considering how cushioning they are with a wide base that makes me feel stable for road running and even if I have to go off the path. Just picked up my first pair of Brooks — the **Glycerin 23** — and I’m seriously impressed. These are easily the most comfortable running shoes I’ve ever owned. I usually go a half size up in running shoes, and the fit is perfect. If you’re considering trying Brooks for the first time like I was, the Glycerin 23 is a fantastic choice. So happy with this purchase!

Very cushiony and plush around ankles that support strength training on smith machine and leg press. I would love to see similar support on soles. I love the toe box design which I believe similar to glycerin 21 which I loved many years ago. (Review originally posted on Brooks Running US website)
